WATERMELON SUMMER MOCKTAIL
This watermelon summer mocktail recipe is a perfect hot summer day treat. It's great for anyone, especially pregnant women and breastfeeding mamas! It’s easy to make, combining sweetness and tartness for the best flavor. You can make it in no time, and you likely have most, if not all, of these summertime ingredients already in your kitchen.
This summer, I focused on making refreshing mocktails for hydration to support my breastmilk supply after having my baby in April. Staying hydrated and eating foods with high water content, can have various benefits, including improved hydration and lactation. Watermelon is a sweet and hydrating fruit that contains fructose, fiber, and water which may help increase breastmilk production. Enjoy a refreshing drink this summer, breastfeeding or not!
