Lindsay is a board-certified Professional Counselor and Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. For nearly a decade, she has worked in the mental health field guiding therapy and connection for others to access their innate ability to heal, to change, and to be. 

 

Lindsay’s background includes being a certified yoga instructor with experience in trauma-informed practices and a Certified Civil Life-Cycle Celebrant. She has worked with children up to adults at varying levels of care and in the public school setting. 

 

Lindsay believes that counseling for change relies on an authentic relationship between therapist and client before it does any therapeutic method. Her experience has taught her that when she listens closely to another and sees the world through their eyes, they will tell her what they need and how to source it. 

 

Lindsay tailors her therapy to the needs of each client; this takes time, respect, and patience. Her approach emphasizes compassion, the teachings of internal family systems, somatic expression, and Buddhist psychology.
