Get To Know Samantha

When Samantha works with clients, she operates through a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. Samantha believes it is crucial for folks to have a voice and choice, and to feel empowered as they explore and achieve their goals. No matter what one decides they would like to work on in therapy, Samantha is mindful of all the unique and beautiful parts of self that may impact a client and incorporates that awareness into her sessions.

Results she often sees with clients include:

- Increased confidence

- Recognizing that the power has been within themselves

- Learning new ways to view situations

- Reflect on reactions, relationships, etc.

- Explore their identities and feel comfortable and enough in their own skin

Samantha believes that we are all beautifully unique and deserve to have our voices heard. Life is too short to feel uncomfortable living unaligned with your true authentic self. She operates from a perspective that we are all capable of growth and change.

Samantha uses a variety of evidence-based techniques, including cognitive behavioural therapy, to explore past patterns and try new techniques to help clients recognize their strengths, feel confident within themselves, and be empowered to live authentically.
