The Reimagined Perspective: You don't need to be in a crisis to deserve support. Motherhood and adolescence are two of life’s most intense transitions; feeling "off," chronically overwhelmed, or "stuck" is your mind’s way of asking for more resources.
If you find yourself trapped in "what if" loops (postpartum anxiety), feeling disconnected from your body after birth trauma, or struggling to navigate the social pressures of being a teen, therapy provides the specialized scaffolding you need. We help you move from simply "surviving" the day to building a lifestyle of wellness where you feel grounded and in control again.
Forget the "clinical" stereotype of just lying on a couch having a therapist listen and only ask, ”how does that make you feel?” Our sessions are dynamic, trauma-informed, mindfully crafted, and goal-oriented. Depending on your needs, a session might involve:
Processing: Using EMDR to take the "sting" out of a difficult birth experience or past trauma.
Regulating: Practicing somatic (body-based) tools or mindfulness to calm your nervous system in real-time.
Skill-Building: Using CBT or DBT to navigate specific teen stressors or relationship shifts in a new marriage.
Integrative Wellness: Discussing how nutrition and movement can support your hormonal health and mental clarity.
Yes, we are a virtual practice. We offer expert teletherapy to clients across NJ, NY, and FL, ensuring you don’t have to compromise on clinical expertise for convenience.
Seeking holistic support outside those states? Our wellness services, including nutrition counseling, energy work, and mindfulness coaching, are available nationwide and internationally. Whether you need deep clinical healing or proactive wellness tools, our mindfully crafted approach meets you exactly where you are.
Therapy length varies based on your goals and needs. Our professional recommendation is to start with your therapist once per week for about a month to see if you feel it is a good fit. At that point, you will have created enough momentum to know if you want to continue at that cadence or reduce the frequency of sessions. These decisions will be made collaboratively between you and your therapist.
Finding the right therapist is the most important factor in your healing journey, even more than the specific type of therapy used. This "therapeutic alliance" is the foundation of your progress, so it’s essential that you feel safe, heard, and truly understood.
At Reimagined Mind, we do our best to match you with the right clinician from the start. However, if at any point you feel your current provider isn't the right click, please reach out to us. We can easily discuss a reassignment within our team of diverse specialists to find someone who better aligns with your energy and needs.
If we find that our practice doesn't have the specific match you require, we won't leave you hanging. We will personally help you find an outside referral who does. Your wellness is our mission, whether that’s with us or another trusted professional.
You shouldn't have to compromise on expertise due to insurance. Our billing team acts as your advocate, working with you to maximize your out-of-network benefits. Most clients find that their final cost is similar to a standard copay, and we handle all the insurance paperwork so you can stay focused on your healing journey.
We believe wellness is a lifestyle. While talk therapy (CBT/DBT) addresses the mind, holistic tools like yoga and nutrition support your nervous system and physical recovery. This "mindfully crafted" approach ensures you aren't just managing symptoms, but building a sustainable foundation for long-term health.
