Stephanie is a licensed associate counselor (LAC) and nationally certified counselor (NCC).  For over two decades, she has worked with adolescents and their families in the public school setting.  More recently, she has worked as an adoption caseworker where she counsels both birth parents considering adoption, and families looking to adopt. She provides support and guidance from the first steps in the process through post-adoption finalization and beyond.

 

Stephanie believes that counseling is an empowering way for clients to make improved choices for themselves. She aims to walk along with clients as they work to make better choices derived from their feelings, their physiology, their thoughts, and their actions. Stephanie’s goal is to empower clients to learn that they are in control over their actions and thoughts.
