Maria Clemente, LPC
Founder & CEO

My philosophy is to live life in a way that promotes continuous growth. Finding a delicate balance of inner peace, while also having a desire to continue achieving, is an art. It takes practice, patience, and passion. I notice when clients begin therapy, they often enter with the notion that I am the expert; that somehow, I will have the answers to solve their "problems." The initial sessions are often spent deconstructing that idea. While I'm knowledgeable on the inner-workings of the human mind, YOU are always the expert on YOUR LIFE. Working as a therapist, it is essential for me to become the student as the client becomes the teacher. I need to see the world the way the client experiences it. As the client's life story starts to unfold in front of me, one of my primary goals is to decode the presented information, while finding ways to tap into personal potential and strength they may have forgotten they had. This blind spot that developed may have prevented them from utilizing that potential. My job is working with the client to remove the block to let potential flow. It is my passion to provide a space where people can strengthen the light within them and breathe life into the person who they were always meant to be.
